Originally I am from Denver, Colorado. During my early career as a professional artist, I lived in Oakland County, Michigan. I specialized in book and specialty catalog illustration, and commissioned oil portraits and murals.
Mid career, I moved back to Colorado, continuing an art career in Denver, and later in Salida, in the South Central Colorado Rocky Mountains, where I founded an art instruction program and taught all ages to draw and paint. And I continued to paint residential and commercial murals and portrait commissions.
Currently I reside with my professional ceramicist husband in Colorado Springs, in the beautiful Pikes Peak area, where we both enjoy home studios. I am at work creating new oil paintings and the occasional commissioned artwork. We enjoy our pet Labradoodle Joe, riding our E-bikes, music concerts, playing chess together, sunset happy hours, and culinary arts in our friendly co-chef home kitchen.
